In some cases palm trees and tropical plants can become to large and need to be relocated such as inside pool enclosures or too close to a building or structure.

Tree Transplanting
Stump removal is removing the entire stump by digging out the stump.
Stump grinding is performed with a stump grinder which is a machine specifically designed to grind the stump into small shavings.
Once a tree has been removed stump removal is recommended  in order to completely remove the tree below the ground level. If considering to plant a new tree in same location its a must.
In the event trees become seriously damaged due to a storm, cracked or split trees, Decayed trunks, diseased trees, root rot, or when trees have outgrown a safe area the removal of the tree should be seriously considered.
Root damage can occur by raising or lowering the soil levels around the root system of the tree, installing impervious materials to close to the tree such as concrete sidewalks, driveways, brick pavers, trenching for irrigation lines or drain lines.
Growths anywhere on the tree such as mushrooms, parasitic growth, conks indicating possible decay, cavities, and hollowing inside the tree.
Leaning of the tree , In some instances from improper root pruning, or caused by a past storm which can cause uprooting of the tree.
Large wounds compromising the integrity of the limb or tree.
Wounds such as rotting, cavities, cracks, splits, improper cuts leading to allow for insect infestation.
Dead wood  or limbs that are dying in the  trees canopy.
Trees need to be visually inspected periodically to look for obvious defects  that would call for removal such as 
In some instances tree removal is inevitable if the tree is interfering with power lines or competing with surrounding trees, or causing structural damage to buildings.
Some alternatives to tree removal are fertilization to maintain and provide essential nutrients needed for healthy root systems and branches, cabling and bracing to give added support to weaker and unstable branches or leaning trees, removal of diseased limbs and dead wood.
In some cases when a reasonable safe alternative is available  that will allow you keep your tree, removal can be avoided.
